Creating URL redirects is important when you migrate to Shopify or make any significant changes to your store links.
By using them you capture any traffic to the old pages. If you forget them, that traffic is lost and eventually Google will deindex those pages.

To use this, go to your URL Redirects like normal (Shopify Admin -> Online Store -> Navigation -> URL Redirect link in the subheadline).
In there is a link to Import that’ll let you upload a CSV file to Shopify with your redirects.
The file it needs is simple, one column for the old url and one column for the new url. Shopify even lets you download a template you can fill out.
Combining this with a regular review of your Google Search Console and Google Analytics can help ensure your not losing any traffic to missing pages.
