Remove Theme Structured Data

Having more than one set of product data is normal and a common misconception that there should be only one.

Google Search will pick the best set of data to use for its analysis. That'll be the set from JSON-LD for SEO. They'll ignore the other Product data.

There are three reasons I recommend recommend removing excess Product data so that there is only one. 

1. The theme provided markup has errors.
2. You're having issues with Merchant Center.
   
3. More than one set of review (aggregateRating) data is present.

What's included?

Once you've granted me access to your theme, I can usually turn this around within a few days.

• Unless otherwise specified, I'll remove all theme-provided structured data and, in some limited cases, structured data left by other SEO apps (if it's easy to do so) including but not limited to products, websites, organizations, breadcrumbs, and blogs. We may leave FAQ markup depending on the theme and your usage.
• Removal of your structured data from the live theme.
  
• A list of the files changed.
  
• Before and after backups of your theme code.

What's not included?

• Please don't ask me to modify other SEO apps' structured data, that just gets weird. It's best to ask the SEO app to help you with their data whenever possible.
  
• No removal of code from the Shopify admin (e.g. product descriptions).
• No removal of code from unpublished themes - please purchase for each theme you want me to remove the data from.
• No modifying of your theme settings or configurations.
• No custom code will be added.
• No lifetime support (because really, who can guarantee that)

A note of caution:

When you purchase this service, I will remove the theme microdata and JSON-LD code once.  If you update or change your theme, you'll override the changes to your code and will need to purchase the service again.
