When should you add structured data while you’re building out a site?
You should make sure your Shopify store has structured data if both of these are true.
- Your store is public now and Google could see it (i.e. not passworded) and
- You’re going to make SEO a long term strategy.
Even if your store isn’t 100% ready, adding structured data now will give Google a chance to notice it. Then you can keep working on your store at the same time as Google runs their analysis.
It’s probably a good signal to Google if you’re adding pages and products over time too.
