Let me help your Shopify or Squarespace site with an accurate and reliable accessibility review
Is your website accessible to all web users?
Are you blocking potential customers on accident?
Or, maybe you received a letter from a lawyer threatening a lawsuit for lack of ADA compliance or heard of others who have.
Or, perhaps you are proactive and want to make your site more accessible to people with disabilities but you’re not sure what to change.
What would you pay to get a 20% increase in purchases?
Did you know that about 20% of your traffic could come from users with some sort of disability?
If 20% of people have a disability and can’t buy from you, they’re going to buy from someone else.
But if you made your site more accessible, that’s a 20% bump to your conversion rate.
Web accessibility can pay for itself. Think of it this way:
- Let’s say your gross revenue is $120,000 a year.
- Capturing those 20% more customers means 20% more revenue
- You could be leaving $24,000 on the table
Web accessibility is no longer a recommendation, it’s a requirement
Did you also know that if you go through litigation, it could end up costing $20,000 or more for the lawsuit alone.
Those Armani suits don’t pay for themselves…
This doesn’t include your time, stress, or business disruption that could occur once lawyers and settlements get involved.
Avoid litigation, increase revenue
Waiting to make your Shopify or Squarespace site accessible only keeps the possibility of litigation hanging over your head.
Don’t wait to be served.
Invest in accessibility today, avoid the cost of litigation and increase money in your pocket today.
What about the ADA?
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has clear expectations for physical spaces, but isn’t so clear how to make a website accessible.
Even though the ADA isn’t clear on web accessibility standards, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), produced by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) does provide guidance. The WCAG 2.0 level AA is the accepted standards for web accessibility, which means you have a solid direction for your website.
Everyone who has a website needs to make sure their site is accessible for all users. That’s a pretty broad statement yet true. If you have a website, you should take accessibility seriously and ensure everyone can access your site.
No need to throw in the towel
Learn what it would take to improve customer experiences, avoid litigation that often follows inaccessible websites and provide equal opportunity for all web users.
Makes sense right? Here’s how I’ll do it
An Accessibility Review is $1,500. You’ll get a clear picture and direction for improving the accessibility of your Shopify or Squarespace website. The Accessibility Review will provide specific areas where you meet or do not meet WCAG 2.0 compliance standards.
After a short goal setting session with you, I perform multiple tests using a variety of web tools and human interaction. All four principles of WCAG 2.0 are thoroughly reviewed.
Here’s what’s included:
- Compiled report for WCAG 2.0 Layers of Guidance that includes the Principles, Guidelines, and Success Criteria.
- Each success criterion for level A, level AA and level AAA will receive a score of pass, fail, or partial pass.
- Multiple tools and testing methodologies will be used (automated testing and manual testing) to get a thorough picture of how to make your website accessible.
- 5 pages reviewed and scored based on which ones are the riskiest, most popular, or whatever criteria you decide on
It’s that simple.
Want more? I have more options
You have the option to add additional pages, include screenshots / videos for major findings, and evaluate the process of adding products to the cart through checkout at an additional cost. These can give you a more complete view of your website which can be important for larger websites.
